Legendary Band - X JAPAN

See my picture also know I'm a fan of X Japan la.
Satte! Here's X Japan!

Abit of intro about the band, it is formed by Yoshiki( ) with his friend Toshi who he had known since 5 years old since 1982.
That time, they were called "X".

1982~1992 era:

Members from left: TAIJI(B), TOSHI(Vo), PATA(G), YOSHIKI(Dr/Piano), HIDE(G).

They were heavy metal! <3
No record company dare to take the risk to sign them because... well look at them!
Not willing to give up their dreams, Yoshiki started his own record company - Extasy Records and made it big.

Later then Yoshiki turned into a girl/princess. <3

1993~1997 era:
Taiji left the band, Heath came in.
And the name was changed from X to X Japan because there's this American band call X also.

THEY WERE LEGENDS(no lie, tv news on Japan always known them as the Legendary Band)!!
hide(notice how his name changed from HIDE to hide) done several solo projects starting from 1994(his name went lowercase) and was pretty successful due to his music and personality.
And Toshi put down his hair. No more spiked hair Toshi. =(
And later then..

YOSHIKI CUT HIS PRINCESS HAIR!!!!!!!
And so did Toshi.



NOOOOO!!!!!

And that's just the beginning of it.

X Japan announced a disbandment on 22 September 1997, because Toshi didn't wanna sing violent songs anymore(bah excuses!). Yoshiki decided that if Toshi stops, the band stops as well. They held their last concert on 31 December 1997. =(

Is that the worst? No! The worse is yet to come after they had disbanded, hide and Yoshiki had plans on reviving X Japan on 2000.
But guess what happened?



hide died, on 2nd May 1998, age 33.

This hurt Yoshiki badly and he went to LA, vowed never to play drums again and stick to his job as a producer to his still existing record company Extasy Records. He had worked on a project called Violet UK, which genre is totally different from X Japan.

Toshi had been wandering around the world, performing "healing music" to children and old folks.

Heath had several solo projects(not that popular though too bad) and Pata is with some band call Ra:IN.



10 years later...

2007~now:
X Japan is BACK!!



Yes, along with hide! =3

They had come back with a new song call I.V., which is the soundtrack for the movie "SAW IV". WHICH IS AWESOME!! <3

They had also announce to do a reunion concert, which is over already, on 28, 29 and 30 March.
(I saw the concerts*online of course* AND THEY ROCKED!!)


LOOK WHO'S THERE! AT THE FAR RIGHT!



Recently they had announce a memorial concert for hide, on 3rd and 4th of May. Woo!

I love X! We are X!


MESSAGE FROM ME: DON'T JUDGE A BAND BY IT'S COVER!! If you think they suck by looking at the way they dress or what so ever, you are so wrong.

I really love X-Japan's song.. especially Forever Love, makes me feel melancholy (no better words to describe it..lol) each time listening to it ..

. .too bad Hide had to died at such a young age..

yeah too bad hide died. =( I love his songs too, and he looks like a really fun person.
